BTS’ Jin is receiving strong praise from international media for his second mini album, Echo.

British music magazine NME said Jin could have succeeded as the lead singer of a band, praising his emotional vocals and rock sound.

The review described Echo as “familiar yet fresh,” calling it a strong follow-up to his previous release, The Astronaut. NME added that Jin is growing as an artist by refining his own musical style.

Rolling Stone highlighted Jin’s unique identity within BTS, saying Echo expands his romantic style and shows his confidence and charm. The review praised his steady stage presence and vocal strength.

USA Today noted Jin’s clear passion for rock music, stating that Echo shows deeper artistry and emotional expression.

Billboard described the album as a mix of seven tracks that highlight Jin’s matured voice and versatility. It praised the album’s dynamic band sound and emotional depth.

V Magazine added that Jin poured his life experiences into Echo, showing growth in both musicality and expression.

Jin will perform the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 22 (KST). He also recently appeared on Netflix’s Kian’s Bizarre B&B, where fans enjoyed his playful and caring side.

With Echo, Jin continues to prove his strength as a solo artist while exploring new musical horizons.
