As BTS star Jin prepares to release his new album Echo on May 16, fans are buzzing over the teaser for one of its songs, “Don’t Say You Love Me.” The teaser features popular actress Shin Se-kyung, and their emotional moment has taken over social media.

In the short clip, Jin and Shin Se-kyung hold hands and run across a road. Fans believe the scene hints at a touching and dramatic storyline. Some say it reminds them of BTS’ HYYH era, known for emotional themes and time-travel stories. “The red diary is back,” one fan said. Another wrote, “Maybe he has to go back in time and save her.”

But not all the reactions were serious. Many fans joked about Jin’s past hit “Super Tuna”, where he sings about loving fish. “He has to choose between the tuna and her,” one fan joked. The theory became so popular that Jin had to respond, saying, “I never married a tuna.”

One fan joked about the teaser’s dramatic running scene: “I just want the girl to cross the road properly — she’s dragging Jin with her this time.” Others were amazed at Jin’s schedule. “A new album, a country song, a tour tease, and Run Jin with Tom Cruise — how does he do it all?” one post read.

Echo is set to release just weeks before BTS’ reunion, making this a very exciting time for fans. With romance, humor, and mystery, Jin’s new era is off to a thrilling start.
