With June comebacks fast approaching, excitement is building around some of K-pop’s biggest names. Leading the charge in brand buzz are BTS and BLACKPINK, both set to make major returns next month.

The Korean Business Research Institute just released its May brand reputation rankings for singers, based on data collected from April 24 to May 24, analyzing media coverage, engagement, and online community reactions.

Lim Young Woong topped the list with a brand reputation index of 6,928,012, seeing a 5.80% increase from April. His OST for Heavenly Ever After has been gaining traction, even reaching #2 on YouTube’s Trending Music Video chart.

Coming in second place, BTS recorded a brand index of 6,812,318. With all seven members—Jin, RM, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—slated to reunite in June after completing military service, the group’s buzz continues to grow worldwide.

Right behind them in third, BLACKPINK soared with a 12.78% jump in their score from April, landing at 4,899,637. The girl group—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—is gearing up for their DEADLINE World Tour, which kicks off in July.

In fourth place, IVE secured a score of 3,536,148, continuing their successful year following the release of their third EP IVE EMPATHY. Their empowering themes continue to resonate with fans.

Rounding out the top five is BIGBANG with 2,550,766. As they approach their 20th anniversary in 2026, anticipation is building for their special fan events.
