K-pop sensation BLACKPINK is set to bring their record-breaking ‘Born Pink’ world tour to movie theaters worldwide with a new concert film.

Titled “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS,” the 92-minute feature will debut globally on July 31, 2024, coinciding with the group’s eighth anniversary.

The film, directed by Yoondong Oh and Geun Min, captures the essence of BLACKPINK’s tour that supported their chart-topping 2022 album “Born Pink.” This tour made history as the highest-grossing tour by both an Asian act and a female group, attracting 1.8 million fans across the globe.

Trafalgar Releasing and CJ 4DPLEX are behind this cinematic event, which will be screened in various formats including ScreenX, 4DX, and ULTRA 4DX. The film is set to premiere in over 110 countries, making it the largest global cinema event release for a female group to date.

A highlight of the film will be the tour’s iconic “Hanok” set, which replicates a traditional Korean house. The movie will feature exclusive versions of BLACKPINK’s hit songs, combining performances from Seoul’s Gocheok Dome with footage from various international tour stops.

Tickets for the concert film will go on sale starting June 27 at 11 a.m. ET, with Korean ticket sales beginning on July 17. This release offers fans a chance to relive or experience for the first time the spectacle of BLACKPINK’s world-class performances on the big screen.
