Electronic Arts has officially revealed the multiplayer mode for Battlefield 6. The live event on July 31, 2025, showed new maps, gameplay features, and the game’s release date. Here’s a clear breakdown of all the key information.
Release Date
Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10, 2025. This release date puts it in direct competition with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which usually launches in November.
Beta Dates
- August 7–8: Early access for Battlefield Labs members only
- August 9–10: Open beta available for all players
- August 14–17: Second open beta for everyone
Players can join on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Early access requires pre-order or Twitch Drops.
Maps at Launch
The game will feature nine maps at launch, including:
- Operation Firestorm (remake from Battlefield 3)
- Gibraltar (close-quarters combat)
- Egypt (infantry and land vehicle focus)
- Tajikistan (large, mountainous terrain)
- Brooklyn (mixed close-quarters and large-scale combat)
Classic Classes Return
The traditional four classes are back: Recon, Assault, Engineer, and Support. Weapon restrictions by class will be tested in the beta after fan feedback.
