Apple has announced its plans to expand its retail presence in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step in its ongoing investment in the region.
The company will launch the Apple Online Store in summer 2025, offering customers in Saudi Arabia direct access to Apple services and support in Arabic for the first time.
This will be followed by the opening of physical Apple Stores, with the first of several locations expected to debut in 2026.
One of the flagship stores will be located in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, adding a unique cultural touch to Apple’s retail expansion.
The companyโs commitment to Saudi Arabia follows the 2021 opening of the Apple Developer Academy and is part of its broader effort to foster growth in the region.
Over the past five years, Apple has invested over 10 billion SAR in Saudi Arabia, contributing to a 1750% increase in App Store earnings for local developers since 2019.
Apple CEO Tim Cook expressed excitement over the expansion, stating, “Weโre excited to be expanding here in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online next year, and the first of several flagship Apple Store locations starting in 2026, including an iconic store at the stunning site of Diriyah coming later.”
Additionally, Apple is introducing support for express transit to the Riyadh metro, joining over 250 cities globally that benefit from Apple Pay’s transit integration.
