Anker has introduced a special edition of its 30W USB-C GaN charger, named the Year of the Snake, which is now available exclusively on the Apple Store.

This limited edition charger shares the same specifications as the regular version, but with a striking difference in design.

Instead of the typical plain white color, the Year of the Snake charger comes in a gold colorway adorned with a snake-pattern design, making it a unique offering for those who want something special.

The charger maintains its compact, travel-friendly form factor, providing 30W fast charging capabilities. It promises to charge compatible Apple devices up to three times faster than the standard 5W chargers.

Additionally, it features ActiveShield 2.0 technology, which ensures safe power output by performing up to 3 million daily temperature checks while charging, giving users peace of mind.

This special edition charger is priced at $39.95, the same as the regular 30W version, and it includes a 1.5m USB-C to USB-C cable.

While there’s no official word on how long this limited edition will be available, the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac lasts from January 29, 2025, to February 16, 2026, which suggests that the charger may be available for the duration of this period.

If you’re someone who appreciates unique designs or are simply looking for a reliable, fast charger, the Anker 30W USB-C Year of the Snake edition could be a great addition to your collection.
