Nintendo’s quirky Alarmo alarm clock will soon be available to everyone, no Switch Online subscription required.

Originally released in late 2024, Alarmo was exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members. However, starting in March 2025, it will be available for purchase by anyone in the US, UK, and Europe.

Alarmo, priced at $99, is a motion-controlled alarm clock designed to make waking up a bit more fun. It features various sounds and themes from popular Nintendo games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, adding a touch of Nintendo charm to your morning routine.

The unique feature of Alarmo is its motion control: you can turn it off simply by getting up and moving, although this might be tricky if you share a bed with someone.

This announcement comes just before Nintendo is expected to reveal more details about its next console, possibly on January 16th.

Alarmo’s expansion to a wider audience adds to a string of recent announcements from Nintendo, including a Lego Game Boy and a new music service.
