Samsung has officially launched the One UI 7 beta, introducing significant improvements to device security through its Knox platform. With the rise of AI and increasing cybersecurity threats, Samsung is stepping up its efforts to protect users.

One of the standout features is the Knox Matrix. This system links all your devices, such as phones, tablets, and watches, into a secure network.

A dashboard displays each device’s security status, giving users clear insight. If a device is lost, data can be transferred to another, providing added reassurance.

Another enhancement is the introduction of passkeys via Knox Matrix. These allow seamless and secure login to Samsung accounts across multiple devices. This feature is part of the updated Credential Sync system, designed to improve account security.

Network safety also gets a boost. One UI 7 introduces a 2G blocking feature to prevent data interception on less secure networks. Additionally, it now lets users disable automatic connections to unknown Wi-Fi networks, reducing the risk of accidental breaches.

In theft prevention, Samsung has added a new setting that requires biometric authentication when a device is used in an unfamiliar location. Users can set a one-hour delay to block unauthorized changes, adding another layer of protection.

The One UI 7 beta is rolling out today in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US. These updates highlight Samsung’s commitment to delivering robust security in its latest software.
