Xiaomi is adding new watermark color options to its camera app, according to Wei Siqi, Xiaomi’s General Manager of Mobile Phone Marketing.

The update will let users choose between black and white watermarks directly in camera settings, rather than only in photo editing.

Xiaomi Camera App Watermark Options

The feature will work on phones with Leica Watermark support, including:

  • Xiaomi 13 series
  • Xiaomi 14 series
  • Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
  • Other Leica camera models

Xiaomi plans to bring this update to older models too, not just new phones. The company created this feature after user feedback requested more watermark customization options.

While Xiaomi hasn’t announced when the update will arrive, it should come in the next camera app update. The change shows Xiaomi’s commitment to improving features based on user suggestions.
