Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Watch 5 at the Redmi K80 series event, a new smartwatch that combines a sleek design with advanced features.

The watch boasts a 2.07-inch AMOLED curved display with a resolution of 432×514 pixels and 1500 nits of brightness, ensuring clear visibility even in bright sunlight. Its 60Hz refresh rate and 82% screen-to-body ratio give it a modern, streamlined appearance, further enhanced by ultra-slim 2mm bezels.

The frame is made of premium aluminum alloy, and the stainless steel rotating crown provides a touch of elegance and easy navigation.

Powered by HyperOS 2, the Redmi Watch 5 provides a smooth experience with support for third-party apps, smart home control, and vehicle management features.

Users can make payments via NFC and even use the watch as a smart car key. For health enthusiasts, it offers continuous heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and stress management.

The watch tracks over 150 sports modes and provides independent GNSS positioning for accurate activity tracking. Its 5ATM water resistance makes it suitable for swimming and water sports.

The watch comes with a 550mAh battery that lasts up to 24 days with normal use in the Bluetooth version.

The eSIM version offers 12 days of battery life, supporting standalone calls, messaging, and walkie-talkie functionality for up to 25 hours.
