Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, packed with flagship-level features at competitive prices.
The Redmi K80 comes with a 6.67-inch 2K display (3200 x 1440 resolution) featuring 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and peak brightness of 3,200 nits for excellent visibility. It also includes Xiaomi’s Qingshan Eye Protection 2.0 to reduce eye strain.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, clocked up to 3.3GHz, and paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
HyperOS 2 ensures fast performance and minimal latency, while a dual-loop 3D cooling system prevents overheating during demanding tasks.
The Redmi K80 features a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS.
It also includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view and a 2MP macro lens. The 20MP front camera is optimized for high-quality selfies and portraits.
With a 6,550mAh battery, the largest in the K series, the phone supports 90W fast charging and uses the Surge P3 and Surge G1 chips for efficient power management.
It is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, infrared remote control, and stereo speakers.
Available in Obsidian Black, Snow White, Mountain Green, and Moonlight Blue, the Redmi K80 starts at 2,499 yuan ($346) for the 12GB + 256GB version.
Higher storage options go up to 3,599 yuan ($496) for the 16GB + 1TB variant. Currently available in China, global availability is expected soon.
