Xiaomi 15 Series Unveils Xingchen, a Satellite Communication Game-Changer

Xiaomi’s Xingchen Netcom allows voice communication without internet access, introduced with the HyperOS update on the Xiaomi 15 series.

The feature requires a SIM card and a Xiaomi account. It supports calls from non-contacts with privacy settings, showing only the last four digits of unknown callers.

The call interface focuses on offline communication, removing features like AI calls. Users can also track nearby Xiaomi devices in real time for easier coordination in offline scenarios.

Xingchen enables two-way calls within a 3.5km radius, even in remote areas or during network outages, and can penetrate up to seven walls in urban environments.

This game-changing technology is currently available in China and promises to redefine connectivity in emergencies or remote locations.
