WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to create personalized AI chatbots directly within the app.
This feature was recently spotted by WABetaInfo in version 2.25.1.26 of WhatsApp beta for Android.
A New “AIs” Tab for AI Features
The feature is part of a broader update that could make AI-powered tools more accessible on WhatsApp.
Previously, WhatsApp was testing a new interface that replaced the Communities tab with an “AIs” tab, which would likely house all AI-related features in one place.
Personalized AI Chatbots
The new AI chatbot creation tool will allow users to design their own AI-powered assistants. According to the report, users will be able to customize the chatbot by describing its purpose and primary objectives.
This will make it easier for people to create chatbots that serve specific needs or functions, whether for personal use or business purposes.
