Samsung’s upcoming XR glasses, set to launch in late 2025, will be developed in partnership with Google.

These smart glasses will share features with the Ray-Ban Meta glasses but will not include a display.

Key Features:

  • Qualcomm AR1 Chipset: Like the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Samsung’s XR glasses will use Qualcomm’s AR1 chipset, ensuring lightweight and efficient computing.
  • Design and Specs: The glasses will feature a 12MP camera and a 155 mAh battery, weighing around 50 grams, slightly heavier than Ray-Ban Meta.
  • Smart Functions: AI capabilities will include payment processing, QR code scanning, gesture recognition, and even people identification.

The absence of a display will keep the glasses lightweight while still offering powerful features.

The Samsung XR glasses are expected to launch in the second half of 2025, with potential teasers earlier.
