Apple Intelligence Features

The initial rollout of Apple Intelligence introduces various AI-powered language tools, capable of analyzing and revising your writing in different styles, along with grammar and spelling checks.

One notable feature is notification summaries, which help make notifications more actionable, enhancing overall device usability. In Mail, Safari, and Messages, Apple has integrated summary tools to improve the user experience.

Another highlight is the enhanced Siri, which leverages Apple Intelligence to offer more advanced capabilities. Some of these features include on-screen awareness, cross-app actions, and personal context awareness.

Additionally, the integration of ChatGPT will allow users to engage with Siri in new and dynamic ways. However, these features are expected to be rolled out in later versions of iOS, such as iOS 18.2.

Image tools are also expected later in 2025. With the new Image Playground app, users can create original images simply by typing a description, a feature that is likely to attract a lot of attention.

Another exciting addition will be Genmoji, a feature designed to transform your images and interactions in creative ways.

Limitations and Upcoming Support

While Apple Intelligence has arrived for a range of devices, there are some notable exclusions. Currently, it is not available on Vision Pro, Apple Watch, or HomePod. However, support for these devices may be coming in the future.

Reports suggest that Vision Pro might get Apple Intelligence support, and future HomePod models could potentially host the advanced Siri capabilities.

Despite this, Apple Intelligence is set to expand across Apple’s product lineup over the coming years, with more devices likely to receive updates and features as the technology matures.
