    vivo Y29 Unveiled: 120Hz Screen, IP64 Rating, and 5,500mAh Battery

    vivo has launched the vivo Y29, the successor to the Y28, with several upgrades. Powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC, the phone runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. It offers up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable by up to 1TB.

    The vivo Y29 features a 6.68-inch 120Hz HD+ LCD with 1,000 nits peak brightness and 264 ppi pixel density. The display has a centered 8MP punch-hole selfie camera.

    On the back, the phone has a 50MP primary camera, a 0.08MP secondary unit, and a ring light that flashes different colors for reminders and music playback.

    Key features include:

    • 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
    • IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.
    • Dual speakers, 5G connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

    The vivo Y29 comes in three colors: Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black. It is available in India through vivo’s official website with the following memory options:

    • 4GB/128GB: INR 13,999 ($165/€160).
    • 6GB/128GB: INR 15,499 ($180/€175).
    • 8GB/128GB: INR 16,999 ($200/€190).
    • 8GB/256GB: INR 18,999 ($225/€215).
