Tecno has unveiled the Spark Slim, the world’s thinnest smartphone at MWC 2025. With an incredible 5.75mm profile, the Spark Slim combines a sleek design with impressive features, making it a standout concept in the smartphone market.
Ultra-Thin Design
The Tecno Spark Slim boasts a 5.75mm ultra-thin body, setting a new record for smartphone design. Despite its slim profile, the device manages to pack a 5,200mAh battery, which is just 4.04mm thick. The phone features a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1224p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
With 4,500 nits of peak brightness, the display promises excellent visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. The phone also houses a 13MP front camera within the punch-hole cutout.
Camera and Performance
On the back, the Tecno Spark Slim sports a dual 50MP camera setup, ensuring high-quality photography. However, Tecno has not revealed details about the device’s chipset, only mentioning that it features an octa-core processor.
The slim design makes it unlikely for the phone to feature a flagship-level chipset, as advanced cooling systems would require more space.
Battery and Charging
The device’s 5,200mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, delivering long-lasting power without compromising the phone’s thin profile. The battery’s compact design contributes to the overall slimness of the device.
Availability
Tecno has showcased the Spark Slim as a concept device at MWC 2025, with no official launch date announced. Although demo units are available at the event, it remains uncertain whether the Spark Slim will make it to the market in its current form.
With its groundbreaking design, the Tecno Spark Slim demonstrates the future possibilities of ultra-thin smartphones in the coming years.
