SZA has confirmed the release date for her deluxe album, Lana, which will drop on December 20, 2024. Fans have been waiting for months, and the singer finally shared the news through a teaser video on social media.

In the video, actor Ben Stiller appears, lip-syncing dramatically to what is believed to be a new SZA track called “Drive.”

He’s driving through a rainy night, adding a touch of nostalgia, as he previously lip-synced in Jack Johnson’s “Taylor” music video back in 2003.

SZA first hinted at Lana over two years ago, describing it as “a whole other album” with new songs and outtakes. In a recent interview, she shared her thoughts on her music’s evolution.

She explained that she’s now creating from a place of beauty and possibility, rather than from her past pain.

SZA’s album SOS was a huge success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and breaking records for streaming.

Lana continues the SOS era and will be released just in time for SZA’s upcoming tour with Kendrick Lamar. Their Grand National Tour begins in April 2025, and they’ll perform in major cities across North America.
