Samsung’s Upcoming Buds 3 FE Offer 66% More Battery Power

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Buds3 FE, and new certification details suggest they’ll come with a huge upgrade in battery life. The upcoming wireless earbuds have received SGS Fimko certification in Europe, revealing significantly larger battery capacities compared to the Galaxy Buds FE from 2023.

Each Buds3 FE earbud will pack a 100 mAh battery — up from 60 mAh in the previous model — while the charging case will hold a 900 mAh cell, almost double the 479 mAh capacity of its predecessor. That marks a 66% increase for the earbuds themselves and an 87% improvement for the case, promising much longer listening time between charges.

The Buds3 FE are expected to sit below the Galaxy Buds3 in Samsung’s lineup as a more affordable, mid-range option. Their design reportedly takes cues from the premium Galaxy Buds3 Pro, featuring a sleek, all-plastic build and a black-and-white “panda” color scheme.

Samsung is also working on another budget model, the Galaxy Buds Core, which has already soft-launched in select regions. The Buds3 FE, however, are expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S25 FE, continuing Samsung’s tradition of pairing its Fan Edition earbuds with Fan Edition smartphones.
