After the excitement around Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in January, tech fans were eagerly anticipating the release of Samsung’s highly anticipated tri-foldable smartphone.

However, new reports have revealed that this innovative device will only be available in select markets, with no confirmed global release as of now.

Limited Availability

Industry insiders have confirmed that Samsung’s tri-foldable will not be launched worldwide. Although the exact markets where it will be available remain unclear, it’s no surprise given that Samsung plans a limited production run.

The company does not expect high demand due to the device’s high price tag, similar to the Huawei Mate XT, which saw a massive price jump after its release.

If the tri-foldable proves popular, Samsung may expand its availability to more regions in the future. But for now, this groundbreaking phone will be confined to select locations.

No Crease Improvements

Despite the advanced folding design, Samsung’s tri-foldable will not feature any significant improvements to the crease visibility.

This is likely due to the technical challenges of creating a tri-fold phone. Like previous foldables, the device will have visible creases on the screen, and any enhancements were deemed unfeasible at this stage.

Design and Features

The tri-foldable will share design elements with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, such as a reinforced frame. Additionally, the phone will reportedly include cameras positioned in the center of the device, allowing for a better photography angle when the middle screen is in use.

The camera module will also adopt the same ringed design seen in the Z Fold 7, though it is hoped that Samsung will avoid the glue-on rings seen in the Galaxy S25 series.

A Unique Product for Enthusiasts

While the Galaxy S25 series may not have delivered the wow factor that many expected, the tri-foldable is a highly anticipated product for those who are passionate about foldable tech.

Samsung has promised a diverse range of foldables in 2025, and fans are hopeful that this tri-foldable will be the standout device.
