Samsung Unpacked 2025

Samsung is gearing up to unveil a revamped version of its voice assistant, Bixby, at the upcoming Galaxy S25 launch event on January 22.

The company is teasing an “AI companion” that promises to be more intuitive and capable of understanding users in a more human-like way.

While Bixby has had a rocky history, Samsung is clearly hopeful that its new AI enhancements will make it a more useful tool for Galaxy users.

The teaser video hints that Bixby will be able to respond to voice commands with a deeper understanding of context, making interactions smoother and more natural.

The real question, however, is whether this upgrade will be enough to compete with AI assistants like Google’s Gemini, which is already a formidable player in the space.

As Samsung continues to refine Bixby, many are left wondering if this new version will finally make the assistant a go-to for users, or if it will remain largely overlooked, much like previous iterations.

Only time will tell if this AI makeover can turn Bixby into a true competitor in the voice assistant market.
