Samsung has introduced Vision AI, a new technology designed to transform smart TVs into interactive and intelligent devices.

The announcement was made at the CES 2025 First Look event, where Samsung highlighted how Vision AI will redefine the viewing experience with features like Live Translate, Click to Search, and Generative Wallpaper.

A Smarter Viewing Experience
Vision AI brings advanced capabilities to Samsung’s 2025 smart TV lineup, including Neo QLED, OLED, and QLED models.

With features like Click to Search, users can click on any part of the screen to access information about actors, locations, or objects in real time.

The Live Translate feature offers real-time subtitle translation, making global content more accessible by breaking language barriers.

Another innovative addition is Generative Wallpaper, which transforms the TV’s idle screen into a canvas for digital artwork, blending entertainment with aesthetics.

Integration with SmartThings
Vision AI also integrates with Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem, offering features like Home Insights for better home management and tools for pet and family care. This ensures that TVs become central to a smarter living experience.

Samsung’s Vision for the Future
SW Yong, President and Head of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, “Samsung sees TVs not as one-directional devices for passive consumption but as interactive, intelligent partners that adapt to your needs.”

With Vision AI, Samsung aims to combine entertainment, personalization, and lifestyle solutions into a seamless experience.

What’s Next?
Samsung’s Vision AI promises to make smart TVs more than just entertainment devices. As CES 2025 kicks off in Las Vegas, more details about Vision AI and its integration into Samsung’s TV lineup are expected to emerge. Stay tuned for updates!
