Redmi is gearing up to launch its latest device, the Redmi Turbo 4, with General Manager Wang Teng Thomas dropping hints on a short video platform.
He teased a device set for release this month under the codename “Little Tornado,” which is believed to be the Redmi Turbo 4.
The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be the first phone powered by the Dimensity 8400 chipset, which is built using TSMC’s 4nm process.
The chipset features a Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and a CPU clock speed exceeding 3GHz, alongside a GPU (Immortalis-G925 MC12) similar to the Dimensity 9400.
The device is reportedly capable of surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 1.7 million.
Rumors suggest that Redmi may also introduce a Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in the coming year, featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. These devices could be rebranded as Poco X7 and Poco F7 in global markets.
This launch could mark a significant milestone in budget smartphones, combining powerful performance with an affordable price tag. Stay tuned for more updates!
