Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone has received its 3C certification in China, suggesting a launch is near. The certification reveals the phone will support 90W fast charging.
The new model, identified by number 24129RT7CC, was certified on November 20, 2024. Beijing Xiaomi Electronics Products Co., Ltd. is listed as the applicant, with manufacturing set to take place at HUIZHOU GUANGHONG technology.
The Redmi Turbo series sits above Xiaomi’s K series in their product lineup. Xiaomi President Lu Weibing has confirmed that the Turbo series will become their main all-around performer, while the K series will focus on flagship innovations.
Expected features of the Redmi Turbo 4 include:
- A high-end processor, possibly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
- 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution
- 5000mAh battery with 90W charging
- Advanced RAM and storage technology
With 90W charging, the previous model could reach 50% battery in 12 minutes and full charge in 35 minutes. The new model should offer similar charging speeds.
The phone is expected to launch either in December 2024 or early 2025, targeting performance-focused users who want flagship features at a lower price.
