Xiaomi has confirmed the global launch date for its highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 series. The launch event is scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025, just one week away.
After debuting in China in September and rolling out in India in December, the Redmi Note 14 series is now ready to make its mark on global markets.
What to Expect at the Launch Event
The launch will introduce three devices: the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+.
Along with the smartphones, Xiaomi will also unveil several smart accessories, including the Redmi Buds 6 Pro and Redmi Watch 5.
Key Features of the Redmi Note 14 Series
Design and Durability: The series boasts a sleek design with enhanced durability. The Pro and Pro+ models feature Corningยฎ Gorillaยฎ Glass Victusยฎ 2 for better protection and are IP68 certified, making them resistant to dust and water splashes.
Display: All models feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays. The standard Note 14 offers Full HD+ resolution with 2,100 nits peak brightness, while the Pro and Pro+ models offer a higher resolution and up to 3,000 nits of brightness for better visibility in direct sunlight.
Performance: The Note 14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, while the Pro model uses the Dimensity 7300 Ultra. The Pro+ variant is equipped with Qualcommโs Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking and gaming.
Camera: The Note 14 features a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP macro camera. The Pro+ model offers an advanced 50MP OmniVision Light Hunter 800 main camera with a 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultrawide lens for versatile photography.
Battery and Charging: The Note 14 comes with a 5,100mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The Pro model has a 5,500mAh battery with the same charging speed, while the Pro+ features a 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery and 90W fast charging.
Software: All models will run Xiaomiโs HyperOS 1.0, based on Android 14, with two years of Android updates and four years of security updates.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Note 14 series is expected to be competitively priced, with the base model starting at around $630. The Pro and Pro+ models will be priced higher due to their enhanced features.
