The Rabbit R1 AI device has received a new update allowing users to completely redesign its interface using AI prompts.
Rabbit CEO Jesse Lyu demonstrated the feature with examples including a Legend of Zelda-themed interface and a Windows XP style design.
Key Features:
- Users can create custom interfaces through text prompts
- Available through the rabbithole account settings
- Includes various style options from retro to modern
However, there’s a catch: the AI-generated interfaces can slow down response times to over 30 seconds. Rabbit recommends disabling the feature when faster performance is needed.

This update follows several improvements to the $199 device since its May launch, including the addition of the Large Action Model (LAM) Playground for website interactions.
While recent reviews note improved functionality, opinions remain mixed about the device’s practical value compared to smartphones.
