OnePlus Open 2 Launch Delayed Until Mid-2025

The OnePlus Open 2, a successor to last year’s OnePlus Open, may not arrive as soon as expected.

A recent rumor suggests that the phone will launch internationally in the second half of 2025, likely in July.

This delay follows earlier claims that the Oppo Find N5, which is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2, would launch in China by March 2025.

The delay could mean that the Open 2 will only be available for a few months before the next flagship Snapdragon chipset is announced, likely in October 2025.

This could impact the phone’s appeal, as it would feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for a shorter period than expected.

While this is still an unconfirmed rumor, the news has disappointed many potential buyers, especially those eager to experience the new Snapdragon chip in a foldable device.

Fans may now be considering other options, such as the Samsung Fold 7, which is expected to launch around the same time.
