The OnePlus 13R has been unveiled with several notable upgrades, including a 50MP telephoto camera and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

The phone is priced at $600/€750 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, making it a more affordable option compared to the flagship OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13R features a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYT-700 sensor, offering Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording at 60fps.

The standout addition is the 50MP telephoto camera with a Samsung JN5 sensor, providing 2x optical zoom and 4x zoom without sacrificing image quality, though it lacks OIS. The phone also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 16MP selfie camera.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the OnePlus 13R offers impressive performance, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

It also boasts a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, allowing for a full charge in 52 minutes.

The device is rated IP65 for water resistance and comes with OxygenOS 15, offering 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

The OnePlus 13R retains a 6.78” LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C port with USB 2.0 data transfer. The phone is available in two colors: Astral Trail and Nebula Noir.
