Samsung has officially announced the rollout of One UI 7, its latest software update based on Android 15.
The stable update will begin rolling out on April 7, 2025, for select devices, with more to follow in the coming weeks.
Which Devices Will Get One UI 7 First?
Samsung has provided a list of devices set to receive the stable One UI 7 update in April 2025:
- April 10: Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Z Fold6, Z Flip6
- April 17: Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
- Late April: Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 and S9 series
Samsung has also confirmed that older flagship models like the Galaxy S22 and S21 series will get the update, but they may have to wait until May or June.
What’s New in One UI 7?
The new update brings a refreshed design, smarter AI tools, and improved system animations. Key features include:
- Redesigned app icons and smoother animations
- “Now Bar” on the lock screen for quick access to music controls and navigation
- AI-powered Writing Assist and Drawing Assist for enhanced productivity
- Updated charging animations and live music playback notifications
How to Check for the Update
To see if your Galaxy device is eligible, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Make sure your device has enough storage space and back up your data before updating.
