At CES 2025, Nvidia unveiled Project Digits, a personal AI supercomputer designed for developers, AI researchers, and students.

Starting at $3,000, this desktop-sized system packs impressive power, capable of handling AI models with up to 200 billion parameters.

Key Features

Project Digits is powered by the new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, offering up to 1 petaflop of AI performance.

This system includes 128GB of unified memory and up to 4TB of NVMe storage. For more demanding tasks, two systems can be linked to handle models with up to 405 billion parameters.

The device is compact enough to fit on a desk and can run from a standard power outlet, making it more accessible than traditional AI supercomputers.

Targeting Developers and AI Enthusiasts

Nvidia aims to make AI accessible to millions of developers, with the system supporting popular frameworks like PyTorch and Python. It also provides access to Nvidia’s AI software library, including development kits and pre-trained models.

The system runs on Nvidia DGX OS, optimized for AI workloads, and can be used for local development and testing, with deployment options to cloud services or data centers.

With this release, Nvidia continues to push AI innovation to new audiences, from hobbyists to professionals, bringing powerful AI capabilities to anyone with a desk and a $3,000 budget.
