Google has introduced a new feature in the Google Contacts app that lets users set emojis or monograms as profile pictures.
This update is rolling out gradually, giving users more options to customize their contact list.
A More Personal Touch for Contacts
With the latest Google Contacts update (version 4.48.27.720364420), users can now choose between monograms or emojis as contact photos.
The monogram option allows up to two letters, with customization for font, background color, and even an “inspire me” button for random color selection.
The emoji option lets users pick a single emoji as a contact photo, with an option for monochrome or colored backgrounds.
When Will You Get This Feature?
This feature is rolling out gradually, meaning some users may not see it immediately. If you haven’t received the update yet, check the Google Play Store for updates to the Google Contacts app.
A Small but Fun Change
This update is a small but fun way to personalize your contacts, especially for those who prefer something different from traditional profile pictures.
Whether it’s using initials or a favorite emoji, Google is making it easier to add a unique touch to every contact.
