Google has released a new ad that pokes fun at Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max redesign. These new iPhones are rumored to have a camera bar on the back, stretching almost all the way across the phone. Google’s Pixel phones have had a similar design for years, and now it’s joking that Apple is copying the idea.

The ad is part of Google’s ongoing series where a Pixel phone and an iPhone act like talking friends. In this one, Pixel laughs about how Apple is finally doing things that Google did first — like Night Sight, Magic Eraser, and widgets. Google points out that its phones had these features long before Apple added similar ones to the iPhone.

While Apple’s new camera bar design may remind some people of Google’s Pixels, it actually looks a bit more like older Poco phones. Still, Google couldn’t resist making a playful jab.

The video is lighthearted but continues the friendly rivalry between the two tech giants. Fans on both sides are already talking about it.
