DJI has released the Power 2000 Portable Power Station, targeting users who need reliable portable energy for home backup, outdoor adventures, and content creation. The device combines high capacity with fast charging in a compact design.

    Compact Design With High Capacity

The Power 2000 delivers 2048Wh capacity in a 32.6-liter body that measures just 16 inches long. This size allows it to fit easily in cars, RVs, or small home storage spaces.

Users can expand the capacity up to 22,528Wh with additional batteries. This flexibility makes it suitable for both short trips and extended power outages.

    Powerful Output Options

The device provides 3000W continuous output, enough to run more than 99% of household appliances. It includes multiple charging ports:

    • Four AC outlets
    • Four USB-C ports
    • Four USB-A ports

This setup allows users to charge multiple devices simultaneously for both home and mobile use.

    Multiple Charging Methods

The Power 2000 offers several recharging options:

Grid Power: Reaches 80% charge in 55 minutes and full charge in 90 minutes

Solar Power: With up to 1800W solar input, achieves full charge in 75 minutes

Car Power: Using vehicle alternator, charges in approximately 145 minutes

Hybrid Charging: Combines grid and solar or car power for efficient, eco-friendly charging

    Emergency Backup Features

The device includes Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) mode. During power outages, it switches to battery power in just 0.01 seconds, keeping connected devices running without interruption.

This feature makes it valuable for home backup during emergencies or power grid issues.

    Quiet and Safe Operation

The Power 2000 operates at less than 30dB in standard mode, quieter than most home refrigerators. Safety features include:

    • Lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) battery lasting up to 4,000 cycles
    • About ten years of daily use capability
    • 26 temperature sensors and 21 fuses for protection
    • Flame-retardant materials
    • Can withstand up to one ton of static pressure

    Remote Control Capability

The new DJI Home app lets users monitor and control the Power 2000 remotely. The app provides real-time updates and parameter adjustments through a simple interface.

DJI also offers accessories including expansion batteries, a hand truck for transport, and fast chargers for cars and solar panels.

    Practical Applications

The Power 2000 serves multiple use cases:

Home Backup: Runs refrigerators for up to 40 hours and lights for 180 hours

Outdoor Activities: Powers camping equipment, phones, laptops, fans, and projectors

Content Creation: Supports cameras, drones, and lighting equipment on location

DIY Projects: Powers tools like chainsaws and power saws for extended periods

    Company Vision

Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI, explained the product development:

“We first launched our DJI Power Series just over a year ago to meet the energy demands of users around the world who have increasingly turned to DJI equipment. Seeing increased power demand for various scenarios, we’ve developed this higher-capacity model to meet user needs.”

    Pricing and Availability

The DJI Power 2000 is available now for $1,299 USD through the DJI online store and authorized retailers.

The device represents DJI’s expansion beyond drones and cameras into the portable power market, addressing growing demand for reliable mobile energy solutions.
