Minecraft in Real Life

Minecraft is expanding into the real world with a $110 million deal with Merlin Entertainments. This partnership will bring themed attractions, hotel rooms, and retail outlets to the UK and US starting in 2026 and 2027.

The collaboration, called Adventures Made Real, combines Minecraft’s digital success with Merlin’s experience in physical entertainment.

Minecraft, the world’s bestselling video game, has 140 million monthly players and over 1.3 trillion YouTube views.

This move is part of its broader brand expansion, which also includes a new film and animated series. Merlin, which has worked with Lego and Peppa Pig, sees this as a major opportunity to enhance its parks with popular IPs.

This deal marks a new chapter for Minecraft, continuing its record-breaking success as it moves from the screen to real-world attractions.
