Microsoft plans to release Windows 365 Link, a $349 mini PC designed specifically for cloud-based Windows streaming. The device will launch in April 2025 as a compact solution for accessing Windows 365 cloud services.

The fanless device features an Intel processor, 8GB RAM, and 64GB storage. Connectivity includes multiple USB ports, DisplayPort, HDMI, ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Windows 365 Link runs a streamlined, secure version of Windows that boots quickly and focuses solely on cloud PC access. Microsoft designed it with Xbox-level security measures to prevent unauthorized access.

The device targets businesses using Windows 365, particularly for hot-desking scenarios where multiple employees share workstations. Microsoft positions it as a superior alternative to existing thin client PCs.

Microsoft plans to allow other manufacturers to create Windows 365 Link devices starting in 2025. The device will support Copilot Plus features, expanding AI capabilities to cloud Windows instances.

The company is currently previewing Windows 365 Link before its official launch in select markets next year.
