BLACKPINK’s Lisa has revealed that the group is officially working on new music. In a recent interview with Variety, she said a new album is “coming soon,” exciting fans worldwide.

Lisa shared the update while promoting her collaboration with Bose earbuds. “Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago,” she said.

“We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them.”

The new album will be BLACKPINK’s first release since their 2023 single The Girls, and their first full album since Born Pink in 2022 — a record that topped the Billboard 200 and led to a history-making global tour.

When asked about a release date, Lisa stayed quiet on the specifics. “You have to be patient about it,” she said. “It’s coming soon, I promise. It’s about time.”

Fans are now eagerly watching for a comeback announcement, with hopes of a new world tour following the release.
