After the events of God of War Ragnarök, players have speculated about what comes next. Many expected Kratos to journey into a new mythology, but Game Rant has now suggested that the next game could be a prequel instead.
On gaming forums, fans have shared different opinions. One Reddit user, SaturdayBoi, said, “They should move forward with the story. Hopefully, the prequel rumors are just flashback gameplay instances from when he visited Egypt before the Norse realms.” Another player, TieLow7912, argued, “There’s no reason to go backwards, we know everything about Kratos.”
