K-pop boy group ASTRO has released a special single, “Twilight,” to celebrate their 9th anniversary with fans.
The song, described as a symbol of hope and a new beginning, was released on Sunday, February 23.
According to their agency Fantagio, “Twilight” features a warm yet uplifting melody, blending different instruments with the members’ harmonious vocals.
The group’s leader, JinJin, played a key role in producing the track, saying it reflects ASTRO’s journey through tough times towards a brighter future.
ASTRO’s Tradition of Anniversary Releases
ASTRO debuted as a six-member group in February 2016 and has continued the tradition of celebrating their debut day with new music. Last year, they released “Circles” as a special gift for their fans, Aroha.
The group now consists of four members, following the passing of Moonbin and Rocky’s departure. Despite these changes, ASTRO continues to thrive as both a group and as individuals.
Members Pursue Solo Careers
Beyond their group activities, the members have been actively working on individual projects.
- Cha Eun-woo recently appeared in tvN’s reality show “Rented in Finland” and is currently filming the upcoming Netflix series “The Wonderfuls.”
- MJ starred in the musical “Zorro: Actor-Musician” last year.
- JinJin successfully held his first solo concert, “JIN LAB Vol.1: Find Your Groove”, on February 16.
- Yoon San-ha is set to hold his own solo concert on March 21.
With their new anniversary song and ongoing solo projects, ASTRO continues to show their passion for music and entertainment, keeping their strong connection with fans alive.
