iPhone 17 Pro to Feature Massive Camera Island, Leaked Case Shows

The iPhone 17 Pro series is expected to feature a major redesign, especially when it comes to the camera island on the back of the phone.

Leaked images of cases for the iPhone 17 Pro give us a first look at a camera module that spans nearly the entire width of the phone’s back.

If the rumors are correct, this redesign will be the biggest change since the iPhone 11 Pro. The new camera island is said to take up about a third of the phone’s back.

The iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to include:

• 48MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor
• 48MP ultrawide lens
• 48MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom
• Support for 8K video recording across all models in the iPhone 17 lineup.

With this new camera system, Apple is set to offer significant improvements in both photo and video quality for the Pro models.
