HMD Unveils the Aura² with 256GB Storage and Android 14 Go Edition

HMD has quietly unveiled the Aura² smartphone, which is a revamped version of the HMD Arc.

With a storage bump to 256GB, the Aura² will be available in Australia starting March 13 for AUD 169 (around $106).

Key Features

The Aura² sports a 6.52-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, offering a peak brightness of 460 nits.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.

At the back, the phone features a 13MP main camera, while the front has a 5MP selfie camera embedded in the waterdrop notch.

Battery and Software

The Aura² comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 10W charging, ensuring a full day of usage on a single charge. It runs on Android 14 (Go edition), designed for budget devices with lighter performance needs.

Design and Durability

The device is available in Midnight Black and Icy Blue colors, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making it durable for everyday use.

This budget-friendly smartphone packs solid features and performance, catering to users looking for an affordable device with decent storage.
