The Turkish Rockstar Games community has launched a new social media campaign to draw Rockstar’s attention ahead of the release of GTA 6.
Using the hashtag #WeWantGTA6inTurkish, fans are urging the developer to include Turkish subtitles and interface translation for the game.
Despite the growing need for language support in big titles, Rockstar Games has not yet added Turkish language options in its games.
This campaign seeks to change that, with the Turkish community asking only for subtitles and interface translation as a starting point.
@rockstarturk, a popular Twitter account with nearly 30,000 followers, has been leading the charge and is followed by Rockstar Games.
The account confirmed that a developer from Rockstar North had seen the request and forwarded it to the relevant department.
This effort comes after Rockstar Games has used Twitter ads in Turkish, despite GTA V and GTA Online lacking full Turkish language support.
The campaign is gaining traction, with fans outside Turkey also supporting the cause.
