GPD is set to launch its highly anticipated Pocket 4, a compact 8.8-inch laptop, via Indiegogo on November 27 at 02:00 UTC. This miniature device boasts modern AMD Ryzen processors, up to 64 GB of RAM, and a 144 Hz 2.5K convertible display.

Designed for portability without compromising on power, it also offers a variety of ports, making it suitable for multitasking and productivity on the go.

    Key Specifications and Pricing

The GPD Pocket 4 will debut in three configurations, with pricing as follows on Indiegogo:

    • AMD Ryzen 7 8840U: 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD – $829
    • AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 365: 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD – $1,057
    • AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370: 64 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD – $1,335

All models feature a 2.5K IPS touchscreen that supports a 144 Hz refresh rate and a convertible hinge for added flexibility. GPD plans to eventually sell the Pocket 4 on other retail platforms at higher prices.

While the Pocket 4 was initially revealed in August, GPD shifted focus to launching the Duo. With the Duo now released, GPD has finalized the Pocket 4’s launch plans.

Shipping dates remain unclear, but with its premium specs and compact design, the Pocket 4 is shaping up to be an appealing option for those seeking powerful performance in a portable form factor.
