Google Removes Page Experience Report To Simplify Search Console

Google Search Console

Google is removing the Page Experience report from the Search Console to simplify its interface. The change will not impact core monitoring capabilities.

Core Web Vitals and HTTPS reports will continue to function separately. Users can still track performance metrics and site security through these individual tools.

The removed report previously combined data from Core Web Vitals and HTTPS monitoring. Google aims to reduce clutter while maintaining essential tracking features.

Core Web Vitals will keep reporting key performance metrics like Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, and Cumulative Layout Shift. Performance will remain categorized as “Poor,” “Needs Improvement,” or “Good.”

HTTPS reporting will continue monitoring site security. It will track issues like SSL certificate validity, HTTP/HTTPS conflicts, and sitemap configurations.

Google emphasizes that page experience remains critical for website owners. The company encourages continued monitoring through individual reports.

This update reflects Google’s ongoing efforts to streamline the Search Console while preserving access to important performance and security metrics.
