Google Chrome Adds New Features for iPhone Users

Google has updated Chrome for iPhones with several new tools. Users can now search with both pictures and words at the same time using Google Lens.

For example, you can search for a t-shirt design and specify a color in one search.

Other new features include:

  • Saving files directly to Google Photos and Drive
  • Shopping Insights that show “Good Deal Now” alerts
  • Price tracking for products
  • Mini-map viewer for addresses on websites

The image search feature comes as Apple launches its own Visual Intelligence search, which only works on iPhone 16 and 16 Pro.

Google says more features will come to iPhone Chrome in the next few months. Users need to enable certain settings and sync browsing history to use some of these features.
