The 2025 American Music Awards took place on May 26 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas, with superstar Jennifer Lopez serving as host.
The night delivered a celebration of music’s biggest names, breakout stars, and unforgettable collaborations.
The biggest winner of the evening was Billie Eilish, who swept all seven categories she was nominated in—including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Gracie Abrams took home New Artist of the Year, while Eminem made a major comeback, winning Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Hip-Hop Album for The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).
Beyoncé earned recognition for her country music venture, winning Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album for Cowboy Carter.
In one of the most talked-about wins of the night, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars took home both Collaboration of the Year and Favorite Music Video for their hit “Die With a Smile.”
The show also paid tribute to music legends, honoring Janet Jackson with the Icon Award and Rod Stewart with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
