Epic Games has announced that players who purchased the ‘Go Home!’ emote from the Fortnite Item Shop will receive a full refund in V-Bucks while retaining the emote in their inventory.

Additionally, original owners of the emote will be granted an exclusive variant in the future.

The ‘Go Home!’ emote, introduced in Chapter 1, Season 10, was first released on October 11, 2019, and last seen on October 13, 2019. It is categorized as an Uncommon emote and was priced at 100 V-Bucks.

This move follows Epic Games’ ongoing efforts to address player concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.

Previously, the company implemented features such as the ‘Cancel Purchase’ option, allowing players to cancel in-game cosmetic purchases made with V-Bucks within 24 hours, provided the item hasn’t been equipped.

Players who acquired the ‘Go Home!’ emote during its recent availability should see the V-Bucks refunded to their accounts automatically.

Original owners can look forward to receiving the exclusive variant in an upcoming update.
