Fitbit has launched new features for its Ace LTE device, emphasizing family connectivity and shared activities.

The update introduces Family Chat, allowing whole-family messaging through both the Ace LTE device and the app. Siblings can now directly message and call each other through their devices, creating a private communication channel.

The company has added new activity features including Family Quests, where family members’ combined activities unlock challenges and rewards.

Working with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Fitbit has introduced 50 new Daily Quests covering topics from sleep hygiene to nutrition.

A new game called “Solar Sword” has joined the Fitbit Arcade, along with updated Noodle watch faces for tracking movement goals.

For the holiday season, Fitbit is offering significant discounts. Customers can save $50 on the Ace LTE device and $20 on bands at the Google Store from November 21 through December 4.

Families buying for multiple children can get 50% off their second Ace Pass annual plan, with this offer extending until January 31, 2025.
