Eminem has publicly endorsed Kendrick Lamar as the frontrunner for the upcoming Grammy Awards.

During a special segment on SiriusXM’s “Shade 45” to celebrate the station’s 20th anniversary, Eminem confidently predicted that Lamar would “sweep” the competition. He said, “Kendrick is gonna sweep that sh*t… He’s going to [win] & should.”

Lamar’s nominations include major categories like Record of the Year for his track “Not Like Us,” where he faces competition from artists like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.

He is also nominated for Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.

Eminem himself is nominated for Best Rap Performance with his song “Houdini,” but he humbly acknowledged that Lamar’s talent makes him the favorite.

Eminem’s endorsement highlights his respect for Lamar, who he has often cited as an inspiration.

Eminem has said that seeing artists like Lamar pushes him to improve his own skills, stating, “My role in today’s hip hop is to always try to be the best rapper.”

The 2025 Grammy Awards are set to take place early in the year, and fans will see if Eminem’s prediction comes true in what promises to be a competitive field.
