As Kendrick Lamar prepares for one of the biggest stages of his career—performing at the Super Bowl halftime show—speculation has arisen that Drake is attempting to block him from performing one particular track: Not Like Us.

50 Cent, commenting on the ongoing legal battle between Drake and Lamar, suggested that the Canadian rapper’s lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) could have a deeper, more strategic intent.

According to 50 Cent, Drake’s legal team may be aiming to prevent the track from airing at the Super Bowl by leveraging lawsuits against major players like UMG and Apple, which are involved in the event.

50 Cent explained on Cam’ron’s Talk With Flee: “I’ve never seen a rap battle end up in a lawsuit… I thought that was Drake’s team trying to prevent the Super Bowl from doing more damage.”

He further speculated that Drake’s legal team may have warned the NFL that airing Not Like Us could bring legal ramifications, potentially making the NFL liable for damages if the track is included in the performance.

While this remains speculative, the situation adds yet another layer to the ongoing feud between Drake and Lamar, one that’s taken a significant turn from rap battles to courtroom confrontations.
